Conference close

The Virtual Worlds Research Network inaugural conference has now come to a close. We would like to thank all our participants for a fascinating conference and lively discussion. Footage of the talks will be posted soon, as will notes from the round table discussion.
We would also like to thank those who participated via live streaming and twitter, and invite any of you who might be interested to get in touch. We are still reachable via our gmail account, however you can also reach us at info [ AT ] vwrn.org . We look forward to working with all of you.

Programme Announced


The Virtual Worlds Research Network Inaugural Conference 
16-18 May 2012
Pollock Halls, University of Edinburgh

We are pleased to announce that Professor Sir Timothy O'Shea, Principal of the University of Edinburgh, will open proceedings by extending a welcome to all delegates at 6:30 pm in Abden House on the16th of May. This will be followed by the keynote address given by Dr Richard Bartle, of the University of Essex. Days two and three of the conference will be opened by guest speakers Dr Matthew Chew, of Hong Kong Baptist University and Dr Timothy Hutchings, of the University of Durham.We warmly invite you to join us for this exciting event.
